When does basketball season start? Auburn made the switch to being a basketball school after they paid for their NC.

Nope, that belongs to '71 Nebraska, '72 USC Trojans, and '95 Nebraska.
Again, we've got a ton of football left, but if the cards fall right for them, the Dogs certainly have a chance for it.
Regardless, their opportunity of being the best of the 21st century is extremely good, IMO.

Why don’t we discuss Austin Golson while we’re at it ? We busted our arse to bring that kid to Oxford. Then we look up and that mama’s boy is flying first class out to Cali with a ticket on the 40 yard line to see you guys play FSU ? He’s transferring before we know it and we don’t have a starting right tackle the next season. Again, it’s all part of the game but you act like AU is some squeaky clean program when you just aren’t. None of us are.

Y'all's defense would crush Burrow & Co. while you'd score plenty on that LSU defense.

Georgia had the #3 defense in the nation in 2019. Burrow threw for 349 yards and 4 TD’s, basically in 3 quarters. Orgeron took his foot off the gas after LSU went up 34-3. Burrow threw ONE pass in the 4th quarter - a 2 yard completion. Burrow would have thrown for 500 yards if UGA’s offense would have kept them in the game.

Their defense goes without saying and if they get their injured back, Katy bar the door!

Do what?

If we had an offense that day it woulda kept Burrow & Co on the bench instead of multiple 3 and outs and giving LSU multiple scoring opportunities.

And our defense is much better than '19.

Congrats on '19 though. You'll be chasing that horse for a long time and it's gonna get more than one HC fired.

There is so much you claim to know that is just not true

Yeah, a walkon who approached Auburn

You are the dipshite idiot we all thought you were.. dumbassz

from news sources:

"Not bad considering it’s a move he hardly expected when he transferred to Auburn last May as a walk-on. Golson, who started 12 games in 2013 for the Rebels, played at both guard and tackle during his freshman season at Ole Miss, where he helped pave the way for an offense that produced the most yardage (6,153) in school history.

But after redshirting last season, coaches approached Golson during the Tigers’ preparation for the Outback Bowl and asked if he would be willing to make the move to center. He embraced the request with an open mind, repping at the position during the team’s bowl practices in Auburn before the Tigers left for Tampa, Fla., in late December.

“I guess they liked what they saw maybe and kind of went from there, and I haven’t looked back yet,” Golson said.

The 6-foot-5, 304-pounder quickly took to the position and acclimated himself to the new role during his limited time there in December.

Totally different defense. This year's Georgia defense would own the LOS against them.

You wish! By the 4th quarter Burrow would probably still be in the trainer's tent.

Their offense is crippled up right now. If they get their QB and a couple of those WRs back, they can just cancel the playoffs.
