Cam Newton AND Nick Fairley AND a veteran oline AND Michael Dyer..........

Gus doesn't have an SEC caliber oline or an SEC caliber RB, and he's about to retool his front 7 next season and there's no Cam Newton waiting at a Juco ready to go.

Yeah those guys definitely contributed but to a much lesser degree than Cam. Replace cam with a good but not great qb and they don't win the natty, but they do have a good season.

So you're saying he's not as good as Les Miles, Mark Richt, Urban Meyer, Steve Spurrier, or Phil Fulmer, who all washed out. But you want to keep him?

Poor Bert just gave up, don’t know why. I thought he had the program heading in the right direction and then just seemed to quit.

Khalil Tate at Auburn just feels right. I’d have to think he’s a great fit for what Gus really wants to do.

Gus Oline was not horrible in Iron Bowl. Actually held up nicely except for a QB that feared shadows. Gus is an above avg QB away from making another title run. As shitty as Stidham played, should have won every game but UGa and UAT and those were both road games.

Our fans are non educated football fans. Moronic. Think it’s PlayStation or just follow whatever the old guard thinks. The fans that understand football know that Gus gives AU the best chance to win it all.

Gus is always going to be up/ down - just like everyone except Saban. Gus ups are way better than most.

Cam didn’t change the Auburn program. He was a rented mule who Chizik rode to a National “It’s a God Thing” Championship. Two years later Chiz went 0-8 in the SEC and was fired. Gus caught lightning in 2013, was the beneficiary of two of the most improbable plays in history and lost when he had the only chance he’ll ever get to win it all.

Auburn is back to where they’ve always been and always will be, a historically mediocre 8-5 program with the occasional miracle season and a few great players to keep the delusion of being an elite program alive.

Auburn is gonna be a 4-8/5-7 football team next year why not let Gus coach it out and fire him after next year??
