Safe space for a while? No. Still football to be played. In shock, disappointed? A little. Fairweather fans? Not many. Graduated in '87 and know of two former students that don't follow the schools sports.
Played golf Sunday in maroon wearing the colors and will always be proud of the school regardless of any team sports.

It was real nice a few weeks ago when the whorns were hiding after getting blasted by UGA.

Think about many.. most? of the Sooner posters on this board.
Very prickly and constipated due to 23 years since last NC. Ultra-defensive about the team. All the transitive explanations why the Sooners would do well this year, constantly sticking up for Venables.. but then this year happened.

We’re still around, but a lot of us are shifting focus on the OKC Thunder.
