I can barely take Sporting News articles serious because of how elementary their site is.

yea only thing wrong with the article is that aj didn't want his girlfriend to take the spotlight from HIM, not his team.. we're talking about a guy who pushed his friend on national tv when his team was up 30

This Sporting News article by Matt Hayes is nothing more than a cheap hatchet job about an immature college student--as if college kids should never act immature at that stage of their lives.
The worst thing this article can say about Manziel is that he acts immature at times on his twitter account--big deal.

Meh. The only thing worse than a 20 year old doing stupid and immature things is people being outraged by it. He didn't hurt anyone. He's not screwing up his life. He's just a 20 year old that is learning some things the hard way.
The whole thing is emblematic of the stupidity of the Twitter Age. Yes, he is immature and dumb...like half of all the other 20 year old's I've met. What's pathetic is grownass men dissecting a 20 year old's tweets. ESPN's obsession with Twitter is gheeey...hell, six years ago this story wouldn't be possible. Oh how I miss those days already...

Offended? I think we all realize that he's a spoiled douche. I separate the football player, who brings me mountains of entertainment and wins games for my team, from the person, who is simply unlikeable. I don't hero-worship these guys. That's an important thing to learn as a fan. If you want a hero, someone to emulate as a person, look to Fred Rogers. If you want to see entertaining football, watch Johnny.

JFF is a douche. No denying that.

As you read this thread, please note the angst of the bama and lsu fans.
They are really nervous.

Wow, college geeks calling each other douches, it doesn't get more mature than that.
