The fact that 2019 LSU is always the comparison says it all.

That’s not how I would classify a GOAT team. A GOAT team is a team that shows resilience in the most adversarial moments when all of the odds are against them.

Then tGOAT team would be 2010 Auburn. And we all know that isn't the case. But, by your definition, blocking outside distractions and facing down adversity, Auburn went through hell with the Cam situation. The difference is...they just kept winning. Didn't step on their picks against Oregon. Definitely didn't let their biggest rival come to their house and take their lunch money.

Did not LOSE. Definitely didn't lose TWICE.

You lost to an overhyped fraud of a Notre Dame team that literally played one of the weakest SOS in the entire country

Ok.

Back to the point, which is a 10-2 team isn’t close to the best of all time. Not even the best of the past 2 years as that would be Michigan 2023.

Finishing 4th in your conference and still winning a National Championship is pretty unique.

Still good enough to finish unanimously #1 in the AP post season poll

Changing the subject again? Man, these points must be so good.

Congrats on being the first 10-2 team to win it all since 2007.

That is how tough the B1G is. The 4th place team is way better than anyone in the SEC.

Can't have a loss to a terrible Michigan team and be one of the greatest ever.

And lost to an unranked, don't forget that one.

The playing-field is leveled now with pay-to-play and no transfer rules. As a result, programs that are based in economically thriving states with a higher concentration of wealthy alumni are more likely to be successful. Hence why programs like Ohio State, TCUN, Texas, and Oregon have all been able to garner all of the talent.

A GOAT team doesn't have a bunch of adversity and doesn't have to show a lot of resilience in the first place because they kick the shite out of everybody and leave no questions, dumbass!
