The curse of Alabama is drilled deep in their hearts.
Ever since they beat a lame duck 2007 Alabama squad in OT Nick Saban has owned their souls.
2008-Preseason #1 with Stafford, AJ, and Knowshon the confidence was sky high. Until a resurgent Tide program waltz into Samford and dig the graves the Dawgs would be in for the next 13 years. Complete skull frick
2012 SEC Champ game- In one of the best SECCG of all time the Dawgs went back and forth with the Tide, having the lead well into the 3rd and 4th. With a chance to skull frick Boner Kelly and the Irish in the natty, the Dawgs wilt near the goal line with Conley catching a tipped pass then time expires
2015- For the first time in years, Bama is an underdog after losing to Ole Miss the previous week. Cowherd and Klatt declare the dynasty is over, not knowing the Dawgs are just what Bama needs to get back on track. Complete skull fricking
2017 Natty- Dawgs dominate the first half, then Tua takes their soul in the 2nd ending the best chance they’ve ever had to end 1980 jokes. Utter choke job
2018 SECCG- Again, Dawgs dominate the first half only for Jalen to take their souls in the 2nd. Utter choke job.
2020- Dawgs vaunted defense is thoroughly skullfricked by Mac Jones and the Tide, again giving up the lead.
No matter how loud they bark on this site, Dawgs are terrified. They have the better team, they have one of the best defenses in CFB history, but there’s one thing their team doesn’t have…the mental edge over the Alabama Crimson Tide. It gnaws at them endlessly, no matter how successful Dawgs are living in their houses of Atlanta suburbs they know they are lacking. Will their beloved Dawgs frick up again to the underdog Tide? Will they blow it again? They are terrified

This year doesn't have that feel that previous Bama teams have given me. They are vulnerable in many spots and though they still have good talent, they don't present that fear factor we are used to.
They were due for a reboot of talent, what we call a rebuild, but they are still a good team. I just think Georgia is better this year overall.
Should be an interesting game, both teams pulling out all stops.

Agree 100%. As an alumnus of LSU, I hate Bama. So much. That said, I hate Georgia more. I think this site has a lot to do with that hate. Georgia fans act like they're a premier program and they aren't even close. What other school is such an underachiever that you just have to refer to a year and the entirety of college football knows what you're talking about.
There's a saying that gets thrown around a lot, but doesn't really work for UGA: Act like you've been there before. Ummm, yeah, about that, uh. 1980. Stetson sucks and Bama breaks your program. Again.

Well, bucko. This year we are 12-0 and playing in the SECCG. If we win we will be in the playoffs, so yes.

Bama shouldn't win but the Dawgs can frick things up for themselves like no other team in cfb.
