If you think they are delusional here, go check out the tiger rant. They are comparing their defense after playing an FCS tier opponent to their 2003 defense.
Most of us realize it was one game, and that Clemson may not be a good team. But, regardless, given how LSU looked for at least six years on opening day THAT game was glorious to watch - imagine a team that should put a beatdown on a lesser foe actually doing that....
...then imagine a team in a similar position that almost lost to a (probably) similarly talented foe and only won because the other team didn't know how to manage the clock during a 2-minute drill.
I guess we'll know more in a few weeks when Louavull and Clempson have played another game or two and LSU and the LandSharts meet in VH, won't we?
