... because no one in the South wants to be called "north" anything. It would be sacrilege, agreed? Fawk the north.

Instead, let's just do it right.

Let's either adopt NC State and Va Tech and add them to the Eastern Division while moving Mizzou to the West, or ...

Let's put Auburn in the East and Mizzou in the West and just have two permanent opponents each year during a nine conference game schedule. Bama can have Auburn and Tennessee that way - easy solution. What's the problem?

Edited due to major subject line mistake.

I doubt if any of the athletes care about shite like that.

ETA: I've never heard a SEC football or basketball player talk about southern pride, yankees, etc.

I thought the common belief was that 16 brought 4 team pods. Southeast, Southwest, Not So South East and Not So South West.

Cycle through the divisions every 3 years, plus a perm rival. Or go NFL and play the like placed teams from each division plus your own plus a few perms.

Serious question. If UNC joins the SEC, which rivalry will be more intense, Arkansas/Mizzou or the Carolina Cat Fight?

We'll be too busy hating teams that matter. It will be nice to play them occasionally though.

I think UT and UNC could be a good one. I always wanted UT and UNC to play in bball while pearl was there so the coaches could wear suits in their schools colors.

Just stfu about UNC joining the SEC. If you knew anything about UNC and the ACC, you would know it is not going to happen anymore than Texas is ever going to join the SEC. Does that put it into any clearer perspective for you?

From henceforth, anyone who claims UNC is coming into the SEC is an official dumbass. Go do some reading about the tobacco road crowd in the ACC before wasting time with the stupid stuff again.

or just call the divisions something else besides north and south... too tough of a solution for your little brain?

what the frick does it matter? Don't you think that's an easier solution than finding different schools just to fit the geography of a named division?
