what about A,B,C, and D or 1,2,3, and 4? Does choosing a school based on fitting into "north" and "south" geographically, just to fit into a division make more sense or choosing ANY name for the division and picking the BEST school

Two divisions:

SEC Pro Squad Legit
LSU
Alabama
TAMU
S. Carolina
Georgia
Florida

Take your pick of six from the remaining SEC teams or:
Stanford
Oklahoma
Oregon
FSU
Clemson
Ohio State
USC
UCLA
Notre Dame
Nebraska (for old times sake)
Boise (for laughs)

2 games against D-2 schools, opening game and second to last game; 8 game division schedule plus a conference championship which is also the National Championship and a loser championship.

SEC Sub-Par Division
All the remaining teams. 10 game division plus division championship. Division champion moves up to SEC Pro Squad Legit. Loser of the loser championship of SEC Pro Squad Legit bumped down to SEC Sub-Par Division.

I know... I know... it'll never happen, but that loser game sure would be great to watch. It'd be played like Madden.

What about "South" and "Slightly Less South But Still Has Some Mean BBQ?"

... because no one in the South wants to be called "north" anything. It would be sacrilege, agreed?

It doesn't bother me.

Excellent! Although I'd change the Davis Division to the Forrest Division ... errr, oh wait, the Black Bears would not allow that.

A Forrest Division... that would be classic, though it'd probably have to have the Tennessee schools in it to really be legit.
