Sonic HQs is in OKC.

Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy, Quik Trip, Love’s Travel Stop, OnCue, Hobby Lobby, Mazzio’s Pizza are also Oklahoma companies.

I’ll give props to Texas for HEB and Whataburger though.

Don't forget Buc-ee's. I suspect that the two businesses in bold play a significant role in Buc-ee's not expanding into Oklahoma.

Hot garbage. Not sure why Texans think this is some point of pride

I lived in lower Alabama for two years (Wiregrass Area/ Fort Rucker).

Been all over Alabama, and I’m telling you the food options in Texas are better.

In the SEC, Sonic is not about the food

If it is about the food then Waffle House it is, fits the profile

+ Open all the time
+ Near every SEC venue
+ Still relatively low cost
+ Puts up with drunk fans
+ Varied menu (not just say chicken and limited times)

Not saying it is the best food, but for a chain, they are consistent. There steak & eggs are not great but if you order it medium rare it is medium rare in every Waffle House I have ever been in. Same with eggs over easy, done right every time.

Waffle house might be the most consistent restaurant in the country. I've had many many awesome evenings/mornings end there!

The fact they don’t get the significance of Sonic on tRant makes me sad :(
