After watching the 93 sec championship game last night they all suck compared to Keith Jackson. He was the best.

Nobody says "Third and California!" quite like Palmer

Danielson is ok but it is getting extremely hard to remove the comparison bias:
He either benefits greatly or suffers greatly by being paired with that mouth-breathing, functional-illiterate, Jabba-the-Hut-with-glasses-lookalike LaVern-the-fern-let's-give-a-bad-name-to-all-Scandinavians-Lundquist.

Gary has gotten pretty bad. It's clear he doesn't keep up with rule changes and will argue with himself for like a minute. He plays off whatever his narrative is entirely too much (Bad Bo, "This is Auburn's offense!") The idea that Missouri could've improved against that offensive style never crossed his mind, and he literally said the HUNH is what Alabama went to in the 21-0 game.

GD is the best there is.

In general, Mizzou fans hate Gary Danielson. He has some very directed hate against us for some reason.

I used like Gary but I think Rutledge is better today. Brent has been pretty good this season. Palmer is making inroads to being one of the best.
Palmer is ok. He just talks too much. He won't shut the frick up the whole telecast.

Love Danielson, he IS the best.

Danielson is good, but I'm more of a Blackledge fan.

I agree with you on Blackledge. He and Brad Nessler are the best in the biz right now.

Palmer is Criag James bad
He's almost as bad. I can't stand the fricking guy, and he called a ton of Bama's games this year. But it's tough to reach Craig James bad. And that's not even including ask of the hooker killing.

Great post. Couldn't agree more. He does and says things no one else does. He does so without malice or favoritism. It's a fine line to walk but he's amazing. Best ever since Howard Cosell who was total opposite but accomplished the same thing... unique and brilliant insight.

I don't doubt an Alabama fan thinks this.

Keith Jackson was the best because he knew when to shut up and let the moment speak for itself. Sometimes, silence from the commentators for a few moments is better than constant yapping . Palmer is a good analyst but could be very good if he would cut the talking to about 2/3 of what he does now.
