I guess you missed UVA losing as a #1 seed in 2018 (and losing as a top 4 seed for the 3rd time in 5 years), Purdue losing as a #1 seed last weekend, etc. Purdue has been a top 5 seed 7 straight seasons. They've been bounced in the 1st round 3 times and have only made in past the Sweet 16 once.
There are plenty of teams who can't make it past the Sweet 16. Arkansas has lost in the Sweet 16 three straight seasons.

Wish they could have just lost in the 2nd round of the NIT by double digits. That would be much more respectable.
