This is both football and SEC related. You're just mad because your school did not make the list.

There's not nearly as big of a difference between 1-4 & #5 LSU as he seems to think.

He’s talking about a gap in the points system they used based on the 50 voters, not an actual gap.

Your Yankee eyes are terrible then.

You should see your Yankee arse back to the Big whatever board.

Zero self awareness and no ability to feel shame just like all of you people.

The LSU fanbase absolutely hates their championship coaches, they shite on them every chance they get. Nick Saban, Les Miles and Ed Ogeron are reviled by these people. Unfortunately for Brian Kelly, he'll never know such hate.

Miles got fired because he hamstrung the offense (and in turn the whole program) for too long and lied about making changes going into the ‘16 season.

O got fired because of how every level of the program immediately torpedoed following the ‘19 season. Im sure you didn’t spend any time during that period laughing about it and making feeble trolls.

You are retarded because you appear to have a chromosome malfunction. Good luck.

These lists always crack me up. Circa 08, Florida was bar none the #1 job. During the Saban years, Alabama. Now Georgia.

For my money, it's Ohio State by a hair, BUT the truth is there are about 7 programs that if they have the best coach in the game would be the dominant program in the country.

My take on the list:

UGA - Close to talent epicenters. Overrated for being the "only" major player in state. OK, but there are about 7 solid programs who are just as close to talent centers as UGA, not to mention how transient it is there. Elite support financially and following, as well as elite town and academics.

Alabama - The most support a college program can have. Shares a state, so not as inherently close to talent epicenters as others, however they are in a good footprint and their brand is elite. Fan support is their biggest advantage because they go the extra mile to get talent in.

Texas - Elite financial resources. Culture and setting is a drawback and can create some apathy. However, with the right coach you can leverage one of the top 3 brands in college sports along with an elite talent base that can be acquired with financial resources.

Ohio State - Elite at pretty much everything. Top brand, elite financial and fanbase support. Elite proximity to talent epicenter, and that talent generally grows up in a state that is all in on the Buckeyes - this creates an extra layer where the players that go to school there seem to work a little harder. It means more.

LSU - Similar to Ohio State, in a talent rich state that is all in on one school. Players from Louisiana who go to LSU thrive like nowhere else. LSU is also conveniently located to access Texas and the gulf coast, with not many competitors around them with most 4 + hours away. Toxic and mercurial fan support creates for ups and downs in support, financially and following, that put it a touch lower than Ohio State. Elite financial resources when pooled together, but harder than other places.

East answer...Kentucky

Minimal expectations from the fans and administration plus a top 5 salary.

Hell yeah it is. And thank goodness that players aren't allowed to attend out of state schools anywhere in the nation

Based on this fact alone I would call them the biggest underachievers in the history of college football.

That would have been very fair until the last 5 years or so. Georgia has now sustained highly competitive football for almost 25 years which is just escalated since 2017.

I do think people tend to look at the advantages Georgia has now and assume they were always in place, which definitely isn’t true if you look back before the late 70s or so. The growth of Atlanta’s population and economy has changed what Georgia can be as a football program.

this does serve as a painful reminder just how terrible a job we've done hiring football coaches since Mack lost his spine. CDC has done such a great job turning the athletic department around.
