Nutt was worse than Petrino. Unlike Petrino, he had backers because he knew how to suck up to the right people.

If Nutt committed the unforgivable sin back in 2012 then he would get a slap on the wrist instead of getting fired.

Nutt always had friends and Petrino never did because his dry personality gives him a reputation as a jerk.

Despite his success, none of the brass liked Petrino but just tolerated him. He wasn't part of the good old boy network and it bit him in the arse when he needed them the most.

I love the sentiment, but it won't stop Arkansas from firing him if (when) things eventually go south.

I'm not sure Petrino was in love with anyone. And that obviously takes in his wife.

When someoen wins 10 games at arkansas, and continues to hold steady for a longer period. they get a monument. Not a graveyard. Just need someone to actually work for 3.5 to 4 million a year.

$3.5-4 million is what you pay if you want to win basketball championships, not football championships.
