What bothers me is the the precedent in the past was if you are going to lose, lose early. ND lost their last game pretty significantly. At least A&M put together a strong second half of the season winning 7 straight. For some reason, that didn't apply this year, and ND was the first conference championship loser to ever make it in.

While I agree that Ohio State didn't have a strong body of work, they also haven't been beaten. I don't like it, but I at least get it. ND got spanked in their last game.

I'm not mad at ND. They didn't do anything wrong. I fault the committee for acting uncharacteristically.

In fact, I'm not mad at all. Glad we get to the Orange Bowl, but I would have preferred getting a shot in the playoffs.

SEC should have had A&M play UGA last Staurday.

Georgia would have beat them. Daniels is gonna be a stud in the SEC. they’ll be legit next season just watch.

A&M deserved to get in because OSU’s schedule is steaming pile of shite (even if they are likely one of the 4 best teams) and ND getting beat down by Clemson TWO DAYS AGO should prove that they’re NOT one of the 4 best teams.

A&M played two teams with winning records and lost by four touchdowns.

There goes those "very logical" arguments.

Notre Dame 12, Louisville 7. In their 4th game of the year, not opening game.

It's simple. If you are going to represent the SEC in the playoffs, you have to beat Bama or hope Bama doesn't go to the SEC Championship game. That's the only way a team not named Bama will get in.

Louisville didn't finish 0-9.
