Baseball is really too early to judge but it's wild that they're in Jimbo's sixth year and his biggest accomplishments are upsetting a highly ranked team here and there.

Jimbo is 3-12 in away games at A&M if you don’t count the covid year.
The three wins:
W 2018 S Carolina
W 2019 Ole Miss
W 2021 Missouri
those teams went 9-15 combined in conference

1) The SEC is gonna be an adjustment for Texas

Because the crowds were small and didn’t really give much of a home field advantage. It wasn’t zero, but it was far from where it normally is..

Jimbo is 7-13 in away games in the SEC.
Sark is 3-6 in away games in the Big 12.
Playing @ LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, etc. are tougher environments than any big 12 stadium even when those teams have a down year.
You will soon learn the difference in playing in those stadiums vs. Iowa State’s glorified corn field with bleachers.
