Has had 5 schools make the cut..

None of them have won the whole thing.

Has any other state had more than 2 make it in?

Doesn’t Texas have like twice as many FBS programs as anyone else?

Not sure on TX in CFP era but I know Florida has 3 programs with at least 3 national titles.

No one else is close.

Texas is the only SEC team to win a CFP quarterfinal game against another conference in the 12-team era. Carrying the torch. That's sort of sad. The SEC needs to step it up

TCU is the only program in Texas with a CFP Final appearance.

Bring them and their women to the SEC, send back Aggy.

Five different schools making the playoff is pretty impressive, but Texas also has more FBS programs than any other state. I'd say Georgia has gotten a little more mileage out of its playoff appearances with just one school.
