FSU from its coach to its president could not have handled it worse. College football is not the place to play the victim card.
If they had ambitions of joining the SEC they can probably kiss that hope goodbye. And what will their whiny coach bitch about next year?

If you're on an athletic scholarship and play football, you count as a fb scholarship

Issue: LSU hates and resents Bama for being better at football
-LSU doesn’t want to accept that Bama is a superior program due to coaching and resources
-LSU, still locked in the rationalizing stage of grief after 75 years, invents a scenario in which Bama is the beneficiary of some great conspiracy allowing them to win all the time
-LSU sees Bama get in over FSU and immediately latches on to this as tangible evidence of their conspiracy theory
-LSU now blindly defends anything FSU related
FSU is ultimately just a way for LSU to attack Bama without beating them on the field so they defend irrational arguments they know aren’t true on behalf of a school they don’t care about.
