Which national championship did UT contribute to in the last 20 years?
Posted on 4/20/20 at 9:15 am to AHM21
Of course our foul ball drop cost us from contributing.
Then you have M-State who actually played for what, 3 championships in the last 5 or 6 years and went 0-3?
Georgia has come close in football twice recently.
The other 3 are just trash.

but baseball doesn’t count. South Carolina lost 1.2M winning back to back titles
Gonna need a link/source on this.

So in my eyes. Baseball just doesn’t count!
It’s Football and men’s basketball (but only because of the tournament).
You are so concerned with profits, but these are amateur athletics, so that isn't really what counts. More important in my opinion is which sports do schools spend the most money on? That is your major sports.
But in my opinion they are all important. Just because something is popular, doesn't make it better.

They may all be important, but you’ll agree that they’re not all equivalent. Most of us would prefer a football title first and foremost, then either basketball or baseball depending on the school.
Although LSU is more of a baseball school than a basketball school, I’d much rather see us win a basketball title. Of course that’s most likely because we’ve never won one in basketball...

Yes I agree. I might trade a women's basketball title for a men's basketball title though. We are so damn shitty in that one sport it drives me crazy.
Yeah probably not, but I would think about it.

Ummmm.
more revenue = better competitiveness
We've been trying to go to the SEC for decades.
and we chickened out and ran away from the fricking longhorns----to the SEC West?
Only a deluded longhorn fan believes that shite.

Publicly showing your ignorance again aren’t you. Fact is A&M rejuvenated the whole conference. Our home attendence is right up there with Alabama and LSU...we are major draws for away games...while most of the rest of the SEC has been declining..

Exactly. At least when you lose games hand over fist in the SEC, it's not to teams that the entirety of your school song and most of your school traditions are made in spite of
