Yeah Freezie needs to take some lessons. Tunsil was slapped with a 7 game suspension and a level one violation for keeping a loaner car to long while his beater was in the shop. Meanwhile basically the entire starting lineup for BAMA is rolling in new cars and $$$

I know what goes on at Alabama, a family friend is a banker there. But I also know that there is a lot more going on at Ole Miss than you admit to. Either that or you simply are lied to.

Right and then how often does this get regulated? How can they prove where the money went.
Welfare money can't be spent on alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes so you think people don't use this money for that stuff.
I've bought a handful of cars and nobody has ever asked me where the money came from.

I wasn't one of them but there are a lot of D-1 kids that play D-2 either because of grades, or getting kicked out of a D-1 and not wanting to transfer. We played North Alabama and when they had Terry Bowden as the HC and most of his starters were D-1 rejects for various reasons but not because of talent.
Big time D-1 guys transfer to D-2 so they don't have to sit out and usually only stay long enough to go pro. There is a lot of talent in D-2 and you can easily get an NFL if you have the skills and/or speed.

When Terry Bowden was hired in 1993 to coach Auburn, he was a bright and audacious young (mid-30s) coach eager to make his legendary father proud and make a name for himself.
Everything changed within his first week. An assistant coach from the previous staff, whom Bowden was told he had to retain, walked into his office and placed a black ledger on his desk. It was a list of players who were being paid.
This is how we do it around here, Bowden was told.
Bowden told the assistant coach, “Pay off the players that were promised and never do it again.”

Idk what all happened around him leaving at Auburn but he is a good coach. Ididn't talk to him but he seemed like a real nice guy. Gained a lot of weight.

There have been a lot of great coaches and teams. Not sure anyone has landed #1 class 7yrs in a row. It helps to be in bed with the NCAA pres. Saban will never get hit for cheating or anything else. There will always be other coaches to sacrifice.
Cfb is much like politics. Hurts was being talked up for Heisman. He couldn't hit a barn door with a pass over 10yds.
Saban leaves - they get hit with sanctions. Count on it.
