Good god this is embarrassing. This is what happens when teams like Ole Miss and State get into decent bowl games....their fans show how pussified they are. TCU was #2 behind Baylor right?...so that's one strike.....and you beat the #1 team, yet you get slaughtered by a hundred points in the bowl game, and then make excuses of playing the big 12#1? Good god man...or should I say, woman.

The SEC West did win 2 bowl games.
Coincidentally 2 is the number of rushing yards Texas had.

We'll the west has won the SEC championship since '08 and until last year has appeared in the NC every year and made the playoffs the past year. All SEC west teams did well in OOC games during the regular season(Boise st, West Virginia, Wisconsin). Every team in the west was bowl eligible.
Alabama makes the playoff. Win or lose that's an accomplishment.
Miss St gets an division champion in a bowl game. Not that bad of a loss.
Ole Miss gets TCU who should have been in the NC.
LSU should have won. Bad loss.
Auburn's game was a toss up.
I'm not disappointed with the performance of the SEC west except for a better bowl record. Step it up East.

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm sure it helped you forget that the division that shait all over itself in the bowl season was 11-4 against the other division, won the title game by 29 points, and managed to not lose at home to Indiana (4-8).
Or, to sum it up, congrats on being so bad you all went to shiatty bowls against terrible opponents and managed to win a few. Sorry we didn't hold our own against the good teams.

The glaring fact about last season, is that the West went a combined 7-9 against ooc & cross division top 25 teams.
The West has some good teams, they just aren't all great. And to make them out like its the best division if college football is just wrong.
You can say its the most balanced division.
You can say its the most hyped division.
You can say they coaches are the most overpaid division.
but to say its the best? At sometime you have to beat someone out of your division. Where are the wins?

Exactly. The west basically got caught with it's pants down. I just can't believe they are starting this year off saying the same thing.

Sub-championship bowl games =/= regular season. Everyone wants to beat an SEC team. SEC West teams give very few fricks about winning meaningless bowl games.

I have little patience for someone making 4 million a year. Both coaches have no excuses anymore. They've got the facilities upgrades and staff money they've wanted for years.
