Then the SEC should have no issue with meeting the standard of proof.

Do it.

This is the same shite you all said when you thought you were going to sign pro players and there wouldn't be anything anyone could do about it.

And the exact reason they want to kick you out to start with.

Stupid fricks.

Correct, and neither is UGA. But what LSU is, is one of about 10 college athletic departments worth more than a billion dollars.

BTW, there’s only one football and one basketball blue blood in the SEC, and neither resides in Athens.

When are we going to stop with this dumb shite?

I love to crap on LSU on this site, but kicking them out of the conference?

C'mon Man!

You are right. But your president is playing along.

Weakening the conference (even just from a PR standpoint) when you are already being underpaid relative tot he Big 10 is retarded.

This is actually a real threat to the SEC.

What do you think would happen if the Big 10 made a play for, as an example, LSU and Texas? From a strategic standpoint, that might be a multi billion dollar benefit to a conference that already is in the drivers seat and it would harm its competitor in a similar way.

The SEC would go legal in a heartbeat to stop it. But these acts are going to hurt that defense.

ESPN /ABC would melt. It would be holding the losing hand.

The Big 10 would hold all the cards relative to the reorganization of CFB.

The other big boys in the SEC would be scrambling because not moving football to the super conference would be death or at least a 5-10 year detour.

Almost immediately Texas would demand preferential treatment in the conference (like it did in the Big 12) and rightfully so.

I’m not predicting this but you should never play with fire for no payoff.

I said "SEC Blue Blood".

LSU joined the Southeastern Conference in 1932 when the SEC was founded.
A founding member and one of the most successful teams in the SEC.
Absolutely an "SEC Blue Blood".

There's no question about their ability to remove a member.

Unless they were to do so irresponsibly.

True. But that has to be concerning the idea that they're "not playing around this time" lol. The admins (as well as Kiff and Wade) at LSU have been acting a little too cute for the SEC and its other members. That's something that has to be concerning.

Wait, they want to kick LSU out because they’re “stupid”?

That should standup really well in court.

The SEC Bylaws state that the SEC has the authority to remove a member.

Since contracts are involved, the SEC has to give LSU due process first. Even the NCAA conducts due process via investigations. The SEC has not done that here.

I worry that Sankey, league officials, and member presidents may have a paper trail that could bring criminal charges of conspiracy and collusion against the players and possibly LSU. If proven, they could go to jail for that.

Nobody cares. You don't understand how much the SEC and your games against big time SEC teams contributes to that and how quickly it can go away.

Again, why don’t they pull the trigger? They don’t need a court order or permission from anyone to expel LSU.

It’s all dick measuring. Hahaha

And you're talking about a criminal case where something has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt compared to a civil case where something only has to be proven to be more probable than not.

I really didn't have much reason to see LSU kicked out or whatever after they complied. But the way LSU and their fanbase just straight up lies in the face of everyone after they spent months talking about how they were going to do it and there was nothing anyone can do to stop it has me really changing my mind.

I don't give a frick about courts or anything else. I saw what happened and it's insulting to intelligent people to pretend otherwise.

All because you can't admit and take your penalties for the actions.

Kicking you out is the right choice the longer this goes on.

It's odd that you keep talking about penalties for actions, when no rules were broken.

Why do you insist LSU should be penalized for intent? Why even have rules if we're just going to penalize for intent?

Is this the freaking Minority Report?

And vice versa.

Again, you’ve arrived at the conclusion that Sankey is better for Alabama than LSU is

If y'all are that worried about Kiffin and Wade, to the point that you'd penalize LSU for breaking no rules, then LSU needs to go. This conference has been heading downhill for a few years anyway, between the media rights deal, 9 game schedules, officiating, etc.

It's that you are using the Louisiana courts to prevent the SEC from forcing it's own rules while telling everyone else to "do something about it".

At some point LSU needs to man up, admit their wrong doings and just accept the punishment and move on. Trying to fight it every step of the way and to pretend like you aren't guilty of it when everyone else knows the truth is only making things worse. It's a continuation of the same attitude and a complete disrespect to the rest of the conference.

It's why the conference is moving forward with the lawsuit now.

The amount of delusion at LSU is mind blowing.

You are in a conference. The conference has rules. You either be a member of the conference, or you frick off.

OMG this OP is so stupid and you clearly didn't read my thread on this topic. TLDR - the SEC has essentially no case because their rules are contrary to what multiple courts across the country have ruled. LSU has not done anything wrong and the SEC is just trying to use public pressure to browbeat LSU into submitting to something that's in contempt of courts. The problem for the SEC is that LSU/Louisiana is not intimidated. They want the federal case to sit out there as a threat to LSU but Murrill is rightfully seeking to have it dismissed because it's laughable.

You keep thinking LSU is the problem. The problem is the SEC vs the players. BTW, it continues to be unthinkable that r@ntards are now defending the NCAA/SEC despite decades of incompetence. That's what LSU derangement syndrome does to people's minds

Sankey is stupid
