bring back the 1992-2002 crossover opponents plus 2 other permanent opponents and rotate the other 6 and the newbies have their rivals intact.

I love it. The covid year was a great slate of games.

Y’all should have played aggie instead of Arkansas.

you guys don't get how dumb the national media is.
if we cannabalize ourselves in the regular season we are not gonna get credit for it when it comes to pick teams for the post season.

This is dumb. It’s about to be all about getting to be one of the 12 teams to make the playoffs. Playing 10 SEC games cuts down that opportunity for a bunch of schools.

I couldn't get over the fake crowd noise piped into the broadcasts and the cardboard cutouts of fans in the stands. Just a little too matrixy for me. The 2020 season has a big asterisk on it for me, I don't consider it a real season.

Hm, I wonder why.

Best season ever was the all-SEC schedule!

For Nashville and Austin it wouldn't really make a frick, but for the rest of the economies in these SEC cities it would be a tough pill to swallow, especially for the podunk ones like Gainesville and Starkville.

I would definitely prefer 10 games, especially without divisions, as when we go to 9 games, half the conference will have an unfair advantage of an extra home game.
At least for the NFL, they keep it to one conference with the extra home game.

I never even watched that game, I was camping that weekend in Oconee State Park in South Carolina and when I saw the result the next day I never bothered watching a replay. I have never seen that game. The reason 2020 sucked has nothing to do with Alabama. It sucked because it wasn't a real season. And Vanderbilt shitted out of our game TWICE. I can see how Bama loves it, they won the NC. For everyone else except Bama and apparently Griffindawg, that season sucked.

10 games and no cupcakes for the out of conference games.

Sounds good to me. And and hold our own National Championship, since the SEC is the only conference that wins it every year anyhow. Only problem what are we gonna do with the SEC championship game, because that’s not ever going away.

Oh man ! I thought we were pals !
How can you leave Columbia Missouri out of your podunk rankings !
I definitely feel slighted here.

With the League championship game, that be 11 SEC games. Before the playoffs even start. Just using one position, the OL, no teams would ever end the season without significant injuries there. Coaches would never go for it.
