Each of the past three seasons, Arkansas lost to a team in the tournament that I would describe as the best team we've played all year.

Baylor, Duke, now UCONN.

Waking up to see the Tennessee lost to FAU further confirms it.

The SEC isn't good at basketball yet.

The SEC is very good but not the best.the league has unmatched defense and athleticism. The shooting is what lags behind (on average of course Bama and Mizzou don't lag here)

Not sure how losing to a damn good Uconn team makes the SEC "not that good"

I don't think that's the case. SEC just put 3 teams in the Sweet 16. That's pretty good.

Lol fricking pigs do this anytime they lose a game they’re supposed to lose.

“Everybody else sucks but us!”

You people are the dregs of society. Leave the fricking conference.

How LSU beat Arkansas in basketball this year, I’ll never know.

The SEC has a bunch of great athletes that can play defense. Most of the offenses are predicated off getting turnovers and dribble penetration. It is fashioned after the NBA game where you have two man games at different spots on the floor, Watch UCONN and Gonzaga last night. The ball and player movement on offense was able to get open looks for multiple players.

Seriously, they beat us earlier this year. They’re a very good team who I wouldn’t be shocked if they won it all.

Outside of the Big East, it's not like another conference has performed much better. There's just a lot of parity in basketball. Pac12 and Big10 are both completely done for the year.

Was thinking the same thing. Maybe Muss will go out and get some men now.

We're a much better team than we were in November. But UConn is very good and are playing they're best ball right now.

You think you’ll beat that UConn team? Have you watched them this tourney? They could have beat us by 40 last night if they wanted to.

I agree 100%.

Athletically there isn’t a conference that’s even close.

Coaching is now #1 IMO as well.

There were only two teams who could shoot the ball consistently this year, Bama and Missouri and the Tigers roster was still being rebuilt IMO.

If you want to win the tournament you generally need elite PG play and to be able to shoot the ball from the outside to win the games the officials call closely and the SEC didn’t have that for the most part.

Let’s be clear, putting three teams in the S16 is a really solid showing IMO, it’s just that most of the teams weren’t quite championship level is all.

Maybe, if we play them it’ll be in the finals. I want to win it all, but the best finish in our history would be ok

SEC was good in basketball this year but I would say the big 12 and Big East were better. One team potentially in the final eight. Big 12 two, Big East two. How the hell FAU came back to beat UT is beyond me.
