Funny you say that. That exact schedule was actually ranked higher than LSU's schedule in terms of difficulty
Um, no.
That link is taking into account your entire schedule, including conference championships and the playoffs.
So basically, your schedule plus a conference championship and a playoff game is right there with LSU's regular season and bowl game.

I will try and answer what I think you are asking (although hard to tell if your question was a troll).
Thanks for the response. I wasn't trolling at all. It will be a meat grinder for all.. I agree. We will either get better or have to make changes until we do get better. I expect Texas to compete each year. Some years will be better than others..
My expectations for the playoff:
1 every 4 years (bare minimum or coach is fired)
2 every 4 years (the goal)
anything more than that is on the gravy train..
At the end of the day, I'm excited that we are joining the SEC. Playing our 3 biggest rivals (hopefully every year) will be fun if for no other reason. Playing all of the other great teams and programs will be a bonus..

You seem to be confused, we aren't comparing LSU to Texas, we're comparing the SEC to the Big 12.
Texas was the best team in the Big 12, LSU was something like 5th or 6th in the SEC.
They ultimately played a schedule that was nearly equal, LSU went 10-3, Texas went 12-2.
Here's a better comparison, if you can understand it:
In Conference SOS
1.LSU
2.Michigan
3.Ohio St
4.Mississippi
5.Penn St
6.Alabama
7.Tennessee
8.Texas A&M
9. Auburn
10.Arkansas
11.Miss State
12. Missouri
13. Georgia
14. Texas
15. Florida
10/14 SEC teams played a tougher SOS in conference than Texas did and Texas had the highest in conference SOS in the Big 12.
The team with the toughest Big 12 schedule was STILL behind 10/14 SEC teams.

Congrats on some of the better Arkansas teams over the past 2 decades beating some of Texas' single worst teams in history I guess?

You seem really upset. Sorry Texas was better than your team and your team's conference this year

welcome... you'll learn all about surviving a SEC schedule soon enough.

Sheldon Richardson answered your question when we joined. The SEC is grown man football.
IE - the SEC as a whole has so much more talent on the defensive front 7 and OL than all other conferences, it’s not even close. The NFL draft shows this every year and modern day NFL is stacked with SEC bigs and LBs.
That means every game you are getting bigger collisions and more injuries. All teams in all leagues can pull off great QBs and some skill players. The difference is the grind of the lines.
You will see this next year and get it.

I know you guys kissed the Sankey ring and got a cupcake schedule so this narrative may seem false to you, but us actual blue bloods disagree. OU will play 6 SEC teams that finished in the top 25. 4 of which finished in the top 10. The WIC12 only has one team that finished higher than 15 and that’s a new addition Arizona. Apples to oranges comparison, SEC is in an entirely different league.

By this "logic," Oklahoma was actually the best Big 12 team as they beat the eventual champion at a neutral site.

I know math is really hard for you given the fact that you graduated from LSU, but 11-1 > 10-2

So Texas owns the SEC then? Don't they have winning records vs most of the teams? Didn't they beat the champion this year?
Thanks for admitting Texas has total ownership over the SEC!!

I didn't go to LSU, hence the SidewalkTiger.

Maybe one day, you will understand the conversation that is being held here.
