State aren’t pretty, but that was against a really good defense. He was calm and made clutch plays when it counted. Stats aren’t everything.

Threads like these are the double edged sword of LSU not sucking like expected this year.
I enjoy the Shrimp Boat Captain immensely, and this board is better when LSU is winning, but then you also are forced to deal with threads like these hyping up LSU’s eternally shitty QB play.

They aren’t. I agree that said his stats are the same against bad teams as well. It’s a really weird anomaly.

If he didn't have a similar stat line the week prior against SELA, I might agree a little more.
Maybe his ceiling is 50% completion rate against all defenses. Wouldn't be the worst outcome against Bama.
