We need to point out that the people of Louisiana elected David Duke, former grand wizard of the ku klux klan, to the Louisiana House of Representatives. He served from 1989 to 1992. He damn near won the governor’s race in 1991.

So you’re of the open it’s a good idea for the SEC to sue a state attorney general and name a governor in a lawsuit?
Got it.

What can they do exactly that should make someone concerned?
Maybe I'm missing something here, but as far as I can tell it's

Why not? It's not like it doesn't happen often. The government is used to being sued.

Going toe to toe with LSU is one thing, but I don’t understand how anyone could agree that it’s a good idea for the SEC to go after the governor and state AG. That is really, really dumb.
No what’s dumb is forcing the conference to boot you by undermining their perceived authority to enact and enforce rules without interference from politicians and judges who think they can trump the will of 15 other schools all of whom will do the same if action isn’t taken.
You’re making it not about what rules you did or didn’t break but about your perceived refusal to allow rules you don’t like to be enforced period.

I’m trying to think of a more feckless group of people than Louisiana state lawmakers and your Gomer Pyle governor. Perhaps the most useless and powerless people in America.
You’d have better luck hiring Cory B Trotz.

They aren’t.
They dont seem to understand that if they make it impossible to enforce rules within Louisiana using legislation and judicial rulings they make it impossible for the other schools to keep LSU in the conference.
They’re right we can’t enforce rules there if they escalate but if they do the only available remedy for the conference is to kick them out.

So the SEC wants to kick LSU because the may not follow a rule that’s already being skirted by several other schools?
Yeah, this is an LSU problem and not massive overreach.

Your administration, governor and judges are making it impossible to enforce rules within your state therefore you aren’t compatible with the schools who do.
I truly hope you, the fans and the officials involved understand that before this becomes untenable and a great history is severed irrevocably but the conference can’t blink or it won’t exist anymore.

LSU is like Progressive liberal commie pinko figs who don't like our immigration laws so they think they shouldn't be followed or enforced.
PUT EM OUT!!!

Do you mean, like the rules you broke by letting a professional basketball player play on your University team? Do you mean this?
