It's not like we chose that recently. We picked those names of colors in the early 1900's. What does colors have to do with academics?

And we're cool with that . I'm glad its off putting to opposing teams fans just like Rocky Top. It's uniquely ours and a lot of teams have nothing that is unique.

I have no problem with UT calling it UT orange because no one else would ever request that color for anything

Y'all keep on being jealous. God made sunsets orange for a reason. Sorry we don't have red in our color scheme like 7 other SEC schools
