Why the hell wasn't Gus at this damn table? He is the top dog in the SEC right now, having just competed in the BCSNC game a few weeks ago. So why didn't Gus have a seat at the table?

Seriously, Bret got a spot so why not Gus?

Gus didnt ask to be there, Saban did, which they said was not routine, but has happened in the past with coaches.

Comments are funny. Everyone ripping sabans dumb arse as they should be.

And then you have the bammers commenting, so sad and desperate to have someone see their side. I bet it hurts to have someone you worship so vilified and laughed at. There is really no excuse and no explanation to make saben look good in this.

still banging that drum?

So you're the one remaining person that believes that this is all about player safety with no ulterior motives? Or is that the party line and everyone on the 'slow it down' side of the fence believes that?

If he cared about player safety he would limit his practices and intensity of them. considering it is proven where injuries occur more often and more contact is occurring at a far greater magnitude then a game

Alabama has given more medical hardships than the rest of the SEC combined since Nick Saban became coach, correct? If not, it's damn close. What caused all of those career ending injuries? HUNH?

I feel like I've been reading the same 5 posts over and over on this site for a week. Everybody's talking points have been beaten to death. There is nothing new to say at least until they even decide if this will be a rule or not (I don't think it will).

This

What the frick are folks going to obsess about when the NCAA rules against it on March 6th?

I'm calling it now - when the rules doesn't get passed we will see a multitude of threads where folks are saying "Nick is slipping", "Nick has lost his power", "#tDecline is evident"....

I'll post an article when I get home from work. 2010-2013, there were a ton of them from Alabama's end.

I'm not banging any drum

I don't care one way or another other than my personal belief that it directly will extend higher profile televised games an extra hour

I was just saying that is the platform most coaches against it will take, does that mean they are in genuine belief of that fact? I don't know was just stating the main reason those opposed have offered
