An ohio state fan has no business implying the committee looks for any reason to put Alabama in.

How so? OSU was the first team to make the playoff that didn't win their own Conference, much less participate in the Conference Championship Game.

2016 Ohio State and 2017 Alabama are not comparable. That Bama team played one top ten team and lost. Ohio State played four and went 3-1.

Definitely not comparable. Our conference champion wasnt left out after beating us head to head. On top of that, we won the championship instead of getting shut out.

I wasn't comparing the teams. You said that part of the committee's criteria is to ensure that Bama gets into the playoff, and I mentioned that the first team to get into the playoff without winning their conference was not Bama, but in fact Ohio State.
I had no problem with Ohio State getting in the playoff in 2016. They only lost one game and it was on a fluke blocked FG return, Meanwhile, PSU had 2 losses - one was a 39 point beatdown by Michigan and the other was to a 5-loss Pitt team. Contrary to what the talking heads said, OSU deserved to be in the playoff in 2016. Likewise, 2017 Bama deserved to be in because they only had 1 loss compared to OSU, who had 2 losses in which they got thoroughly dominated. If OSU had defeated a 5-loss Iowa team instead of losing to them by 31, they would've gotten in. You can lose a game, but you just can't get embarrassed by an average team, which is what happened to OSU.

And, to be clear, I think ohio state was an overall better team than Penn state that year. It was a close loss that ohio state probably should've won. I dont care that they got in. Its just ridiculous that you're implying the committee is hellbent on putting Alabama in or that Alabama has not deserved to be in the playoff. Its hypocrisy.
