If LSU can get through Wisconsin, Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss before Bama then Vegas will have no choice to make LSU a slight favorite

They actually have 5 straight reasons.

One of my favorite things about him is his sideline demeanor. You rarely see him blowing up on the sidelines - whether at the refs, his players or his coaches. He pretty much keeps calm, gives the old retard-clap, and moves on.

Of course I'd like to see him be a little less calm towards the end of halves when time is of the essence. But I'll take the good with the bad.

I can't believe I'm getting sucked into this but......

In this both undefeated scenario Alabama will have beaten

USC, @ Ole Miss, @ Arkansas, @ Tennessee, Texas A&M

Good luck with that. I wasn't saying LSU would win or lose. I'm telling you what the line will be.

I thought Georgia last year ended that streak

They were betting favorites when the line opened. By the time kickoff rolled around, Bama was -1 to -1.5.

The only thing about him is that he is as shitty an x's and o's coach as you can get.

He's an honorable man and can recruit his arse off, but he has got to be a better x's and o's coach. He also needs to DEVELOP the incredible talent he brings in.

I can just hear him now, "Well Verne...here we are again. Bama and LSU. Game of Century part xx"

Yea, if he was my coach he would frustrate the heck out of me at times for sure. I don't dispute that for LSU fans at all.

I'd like Les a lot more if he would let my team win a game against him every now and then.

You think Saban respects Miles?

Seriously.

I've always wondered what he thinks of him?

Great recruiter but meh gameday coach?

God I hope so. Bama was the favorite for +70 straight games and then BOOM they have us the underdog going into Athens in '15 and we all know what happened after that.

I think he respects Miles and LSU so much that he has spent a ton of energy figuring out how to matchup against them, what their tendencies are, etc. Much more so than other programs.

It was an uprising by the fanbase that saved Les Miles. If you watched the LSU/A&M game it was obvious how much the vast majority of LSU fans love Les Miles. LSU has a small but vocal bunch who have been detractors since day one. There is a few big money guys who tried to pull a coup and believe me Jimbo was their annointed one. The President of the University and the Governor got involved with the situation and calls were made to several LSU Board Of Supervisors and the BS was stopped. LSU AD Joe Aleva is an idiot and a pawn. He should be fired for letting this crap go on.
