A lot of similarities between these two teams..

- Year after their best season of all time
- Heisman trophy winning QB left
- Preseason ranked in the top 25 (Auburn much lower)

Auburn 2011 Resume
----------------------
#19 Preseason Ranking
8-5 Record (4-4 SEC)
Notable Wins: 16 Mississippi State, 10 South Carolina
Won the Chik-Fil-A bowl against Virgina
Finished 4th in the SEC West
Finished Unranked in the top 25

LSU 2020 Resume
----------------------
#6 Preseason Ranking
5-5 Record all SEC
Notable Wins: 6 Florida
No Bowl game
Finished 4th in the SEC West
Finished Unranked in the top 25

After both of these years, both teams completely overhauled their staff. Obviously we know what happened to Chizik in 2012..

Can the LSU Tigers avoid the same fate?

Auburn didn’t have 20 of 22 starters coming back in 2012, LSU does!

LSU wins the SEC Championship in 2021, you can already inscribe the LSU Tigers on the Trophy!

Neither could find anyone to be DC, too.

We don't yet know which LSU players are quitting though.

I look forward to Joe Brady replacing a fired Couch O in December 2021.

I have been assured his playbook is still where he left it in Baton Rouge.

Hopefully he does better with LSU than us. That was the worst defense in the history of college football

To be fair that was probably the worst offense in CFB as well..
