Wait he hit .408? As in, on the whole season? I didn’t think that happened anymore. Sorry about the broken hand though

That .408 season was remarkable. Was .430 halfway through the conference season - he fell off at the end and dropped below .400 and picked it back up.

I can only imagine. We had Raph Rhymes hit .431 for one season recently but I think that’s the only LSU player near .400 for the season in quite a while.

That’s really impressive.

Mangum also started 5 games as a pitcher in 2017 due to pitching injuries. Pitching he was 2-1 with 1 save and a SEC win against Ole Miss

He's also a switch hitter. I forget if he's better from the left or right side of the plate. Doesn't appear to matter.

Read his roster bio. It's fricking book

Mangum

He's been so clutch for us in these 3 years. Several game winning hits. Just like this past mid week game against UAB. He's got a few against ole miss i know.

Holy hell. Officially the longest bio I've ever seen. No way, I'd last long enough to read all of that tonight.

I legit didn’t know Mangum was that close. Cool battle between the two moving forward.

Eddie Furness was the fricking man. He could rake.

Best of luck to the two

The stupid philosophy these days is that someone can’t be an all time great just because they are playing right now
I'm starting to think you actually believe there are people arguing this, when in reality you've made up your own strawman and are arguing with yourself in the mirror.

There is no one I would rather have in a situation where I need a base hit than Antoine Duplantis.

Dude.....

It’s a good topic regarding your OP, but learn you some Todd Walker and shut the frick up.

Todd Walker was great and is the best LSU baseball player of all time. Duplantis is a different type of hitter. I don’t understand why there need to be comparisons

No, it’s because people have legitimately claimed that
