Mangum: 355

Mangum is #12 all-time in the NCAA. Some records from the old days when west coast teams played 90 games a year are going to be difficult to break.

When Dave Magadan was tearing things up for Bama, they played about 50 games a year.

It wasn't just the west coast. The single season record is held by some UCF dude who played in 85 games in 1985.

Wichita State used to go crazy with scheduling an insane number of games before a uniform schedule length was put into place. They played between 80-90 games multiple times. They played 80 games in 1979 not even making the postseason. They played 88 in 1985 getting bounced in the regionals. Probably why Gene Stevenson’s brother holds the career hits record.
