Outside of that 20-0 lead, Bama played a tight game and should have won.
That's like Missouri claiming scoreboard since they outscored us 29-17 after we went up 42-0.

I'm not sure anyone in the league next year can stop this offense.
We might very well threepeat.

You need fast LBs in the game for sure, but I think it will take 4 DLs this time around.
Clearly LSU isn't known for good DL play for the last decade.

And last year is over Aggie fans.Sorry to remind you.
How are you going to stop Alabama's offense?
How are you going to stop Alabama's offense?

Sorry Sarge I haven't seen A&M hoisting any crystal footballs. You beat us,but you didn't get much to show for it. Because no one else did. Alabama got it done. You didn't.
We would have beaten ND 10X worse than you did if given the chance, and everyone in the country knows it, so frick you!

Wow. Obviously Aggies have never heard of sarcasm and don't understand the mind of a Bama fan. SEC newbs. Bama doesn't lose. Only beats themselves.

More importantly, how do they play Alabama when the game is not the week after LSU.

LSU switched to a 3-4
Yeah, but it wasn't just that. There were other adjustments.

LSU has the speed to shut down Johnny.
Not sure about next year, but yes, LSU builds its defense on speed first, then size.

IMO, this is the strength of Chavis. LSUs LB have never been better since he's taken over as DC.

We stopped Alabama's offense last year the same way we stopped Oklahoma's:
-Keep everything in front of you
-Don't give up the big play
-Extreme physicality at the point of attack
With the exception of the two bombs by McCarron in which the safety bit HARD on the fake, we accomplished all of that.
It's as if you fail to acknowledge the upgrade in talent we're about to receive at every defensive position.
I'm sure you are going to tell me now that McCarron threw those picks and that the pressure and coverage had nothing to do with that. 2 of his 3 interceptions came against us.
Oh, and BTW...WE NOW HAVE A YEAR OF FILM ON ALABAMA'S OFFENSE.
Unlike Alabama, who has to prepare for Virginia Tech in their opener, we have Rice and Sam Houston as glorified warmups before we get Alabama.

But you spit the bit in 2 games Sarge. That's the facts.
And that was last year we got one man to stop this time.ONE man.
Look at Alabama..look good and you'll see trouble.
Speed and skill all over the place on offense. The subject of this thread is how will you stop it?

You just lost 3 starters on that DL to the NFL. I was talking about the defensive set. 3-4 verses 4 down linemen. KK should have gone to the running game when LSU started showing 3-4. They learned from that mistake and after that game, nobody got away with it. Watch the Cotton Bowl. The running game opened it up all over the field. Didn't use it properly v. LSU.

Step in front of an out route and intercept the ball, just like last time?
On offense, they employ the same strategy, namely, find Sunseri and abuse him.

A Heisman? That's "not much"?
Who seriously expected A&M to have the season they did last year?
You're giving them shite for not winning a crystal football last year?
How about a big thank you to Baylor and Stanford for negating your loss to A&M?
Bama needed help and they got it. No doubt, y'all took care of business every game prior to and every game after the A&M game. But you didn't "get it done" that day.

Up grade you are about to receive fine. Inexperience vs experience spells trouble. Mc Carron is going to torch you.

put down the crack pipe, the game is played in College Station this year..............

That's what Oklahoma said.
Nowhere was that failed strategy more evident than the option play to Malena in the 2nd half. Oklahoma sold out to stop Manziel and Malena sleepwalked into the endzone.
Next drive, they sold out to stop Manziel on the zone read and Trey Williams walked in UNTOUCHED for 35 yards.

Just like Alabama did against A&M. Win that game and the rest of the schedule is a coast to the national championship. Saban, his defense and AJ shite the bed against Johnny Football and then all of you had to hit the floor of your trailer and pray that Oregon and K-State lost and praise pawwl that Ohio State was ineligible.

NO TEAM got it done every day, except Ohio State and they didn't play anyone.
NO REPEAT NO SEC team got it done every day. No one that mattered went unbeaten.
So much for that argument.

Defensive End: 1/2 returning starters (Obioha)
Defensive Tackle: 1/2 returning starters (Ennis)
Linebacker: 1/3 returning starters (Jenkins)
Cornerback: 2/2 returning starters (Harris, Everett)
Safety: 1/2 returning starters (Matthews)
We upgrade at every position on defense (except maybe weakside end...you're not going to replace Damontre Moore that easily)
