Richt was laid back as a coach, and kept emotions, as a whole, under control.
Unpossible

I do find it hilarious that Pollack decided to join in the hate fest with Murray today.
When on December 7th 2017, he said LINK

I just want to know how much Pollack and Murray as "reporters" so I determine see if they make more than me.
Not sure what that means in the hills of Tennessee but Engrish please moving forward.

You shouldn't have had to tell me that.

Not sure what Pollack said today, but I would imagine he meant what he said in December.

The story about Pruitt going to Richt's house at night has been around for awhile. In addition, when he left Bama for FSU, he complained that Saban didn't make him an on-field coach fast enough. (Pruitt was initially hired for Hoover High School as an analyst).
He was on the staff at Bama while Kirby was there, and I've no doubt that there is some animosity between the two just because of their different styles.
Bottom line--Pruitt has a massive ego but does not have the accomplishments to back up that ego. That may make it difficult to weather the impending tough times at Tennessee.
Pruitt might be an a-hole on wheels but he can coach a defense and he had topped out as an assistant before taking the Tennessee job.

Pollack basically just echoed what Murray said. Like I said, coordinated effort.

Pruitt will be the gift that keeps on giving at Tennessee year after year. I'd put the odds at 50/50 that Fulmer ends up finishing Pruitt's contract after setting him up and firing him.

I hope like hell Pruitt gives some good interviews and post-game remarks.

For anyone who's listened to Richt over the years and knows how he abhors controversy, this is as catty as Richt gets...
quote:
"Here's the deal... I'm at Miami," Richt said, per Dan Matthews. "He's at Tennessee. I'm going to talk about Miami and I'm sure he wants to talk about Tennessee. So, we'll leave it at that."

Seems like Pruitt saw Richt as a weak leader that he could push around.
I think Pruitt was pissed at how shitty Schottenhimer was/is. Richt stood by Schott, hoping/ thinking the offense would catch up, but it never did. Hence Pruitt blowing up. Hard to blame a man, pulling his weight and then some, stressing trying to make a name for himself and producing only to watch a capable offensive roster look like shite every week. I think the Richt blowup on the lawn was just Pruitt being pissed at Richt not cutting the cord on Schottenhimer. I don't blame him, but showing up at your bosses house drunk wanting to duel is pretty unprofessional and would get most of us common folks fired and a night in jail.

Nah, that was after the 2012 SECCG when he knocked the bottle of Gatorade off the table and Chuck Oliver asked him that stupid question.

You are an idiot. Murray and Pollack were coached by, and still love, Mark Richt. Neither one of those guys is close to Kirby. In fact, Murray wanted to have some part in a recent UGA home pregame celebration and Kirby would not allow Aaron to participate.
