No it's to get the 4 best teams. Tcu would be a ten point underdog against bama. Bama is the only team capable of beating Georgia. Not saying they would but they are the only one that Georgia fears. They will walk to their second straight title. You can say all you want about bama not deserving to be in or what not but by everyone's reaction the last day on here you guys tell everyone who you really think is top four by pushing so hard not to put bama in. I don't blame you guys hell if I wasn't a bama fan I would hate them too

Bama sucked this season, best win was against Texas’ back up QB

Only because you are comparing it to what Alabama normally is.

If you want to apply the same standard, then everyone but Georgia sucks.

That said, I have 0 belief Alabama would be in the playoffs. I'm more pissed off that they put TCU #3 to avoid the rematch.

It still doesn't mean Bama could beat TCU. Bama wouldn't even come within 3 scores of UGA. All 3 in the playoff would be closer.

There's no denying we had 2 losses, but one criterion the Committee doesn't really use for the 4th team is "Do they actually have a chance of winning", or Cincinnati and TCU would not have been in. It is what it is, we shouldn't have lost to LSU.

Every time you guys fail to make it in, your coach and yourselves want to change the criteria (rules) to allow you to get in.

They are there for a reason.

Now, enjoy the sugar

The playoff committee bowed to public pressure to leave Alabama out
Sad

Just to suck up to the B1G powers that be. Ohio got mud stomped at home by Michigan. And the committee thought a potential rematch due to a lucky break by Ohio would be a good idea? Lol

Alabama would beat the breaks off the best that B1G has to offer.

I'm not sure they bowed to public pressure honestly, at least not directly or suddenly this year. But I'm sure it didn't help.

The fact is they ranked them the same way they basically get ranked every year as far as who the top4 were. It was predictable. They are truly incapable of making the tough decisions and they always pretend "P5" is equal, and they look at record first. So Alabama having 2 losses was never going to get in over TCU having 1 loss. All they see is P5 with 1 less loss.

SoS and all those other things only come into play once teams have equal records.

It was predictable and the entire thing about Alabama was a troll and click bait from the start.

Now, there are 2 possible reasons why they do that "All P5 teams are equal shite". Either they are too ignorant to understand otherwise, and they aren't because they apply the shite with even records. Or they do it because of public pressure. Because everyone is going to scream SEC Bias, or this team Bias, and all the other excuses they already make for losing.

So in that way they bow to public pressure. That leads to teams everyone knows isn't really among the 4 best teams, like Cincy last year for example, getting in.

This year putting TCU #3 proved they move shite around for matchups/ratings. And for that, I can't forgive them.

At least Georgia and Michigan are in, the 2 teams that actually deserve it. Still think Michigan was given a gift, but hopefully Georgia will kick the shite out of this propped up Big10 Challenge.

Alabama did not beat any team handily this season save for maybe Auburn.

Offense was ok, defense sucked.

The criteria has never changed, nor has Alabama gotten anything that hasn't been given to others.

Alabama was perhaps the first to get in under such circumstances, but that's just because Alabama was in 95% of the playoffs.

"Alabama didn't even win it's conference" - Georgia last year, Ohio St and TCU this year.

"Alabama didn't even win it's division" - Ohio St this year.

It turns out, when people talk about different things each year, it's usually because the other factors are deemed equal. It's not really just Alabama that puts them there, it's everyone else straight up choking the shite away.

Oklahoma St choked it away in 2011.
Ole Miss choked it away in 2015.

We can do Alabama too. Alabama choked it away in 2013.

This year, USC choked it away and TCU almost did if not for USC choking. Ohio St was also saved by the USC choke. Same shite that lead to 2 loss LSU winning the NC in 2007. It doesn't happen without everyone else choking.

Oh horse-merde. We didn’t take care of business. You don’t take care of business, you don’t play for the big trophy. Saban was doing his job stumping but we never had any realistic chance of getting in. It’s over, moving on.

There was never an argument to put Alabama ahead of a 1 loss TCU or OSU who had better schedules and wins than Alabama. Alabama fan sites and ESPN just made cash off of acting like there was a possibility.
