The play that set the tone for us IMO was when Upchurch trucked the Va Tech player to score a TD.

That's the same play I was thinking of...started the season with a sign of a strong running game behind a rebuilt line. That play was the exclamation point.

Naw that game was never in doubt. Once Lee came in the celebration began. Holding him to 9 yards and an INT in the 4th quarter might have set the tone for the year although November is a bit late to be setting the tone for the entire season.

The shitty false start called on 4th down during LSU vs Bama that took us out of scoring range and gave Bama the ball. I think Bama marched down the field and scored. Game was about to be put out of reach

Chad Jones INT was pretty sweet too. PP windmill

hmm, out of reach in the third quarter only being down by nine points? Yeah, that would have been impossible to come back from.

Your offense was pretty pathetic earlier in the season. It was easily as bad as LSUs. At that point in the season.. a 2 possession lead would be easy to hold on to.

Even I will admit that is a bit of a stretch...
UT held them to 256 Yards
but

South Carolina 356
Ole Miss 354
Kentucky 351
Arkansas 425

all before LSU played and that is not even including non-conference where Alabama put up 500+ yards in each game.

Yes we had some. But we also put up points.

Va Tech 34
Arky 35
Kentucky 38
Ole Miss 22
South Carolina 20
Tenn 12 this being the exception
Lsu 24

Bama's average margin of victory this year has been 31.7 to 11. Averaging right at 32 per game isn't too shabby.

You had like, 4 possessions start inside OM's 20 yard line and got a FG on all attempts.

200 yds seemed like alot compared to yalls 19 in the first half I guess. You're right.. we had no offense.

Bama fans are 13-0 and about to play for a NC yet they still feel a need to take part in these pissing matches. If it was Ole Miss in that situation, I would simply say "scoreboard" and be done with it.

C'mon Gumps. Surely ur better that that.

being 13-0 and everyone questioning your legitimacy makes some do this, but most are just doing it to piss off Bama fans or make themselves feel better.. Either way with a victory over Texas i wont care what anyone says about any of our victories.

Victory over Texas or not, you're still 17-1 in conference in the last 2 years and just skulldrug the one team that beat you.

I don't know about the ONE play that set the tone for the season... but I'm proud to admit that the one play that sticks out among all others was Terrence Cody's FG block (of course.)

it's like, we did everything we could to lose that ball game, but we did it... we blocked it. and THAT was amazing. it helps to build the ole faith-o-meter.
