Slow down skippy. Let’s not count our chickens. I thought State fans would enjoy. Why can’t you leave it at that?

Totally misleading title to this thread.

The article title is K.J., Kylin and the Pirate: How the Air Raid Stormed Back Into the SEC

Nothing about taking a dump or about gumbo

I posted an article I thought State fans and others would enjoy. Why did it trigger you to be an a-hole?

Never fear fleabag, I think Alabama will show up. We have a few things LSU did not.

A defense, a QB , a running game and an offense with a line that can block.

Leach took part in karaoke, singing the sweet tunes of Jethro Tull’s “Nothing Is Easy.” The only reason he partook, he claims, is that there were three people in the bar, including the bartender, and no one knew who in the heck he was.

“I should have said ‘I’m Joey Freshwater,’” Leach laughs,

I posted this in another thread after the scoreboard was locked, but that's the best thing I've heard a coach say in a long time.

Actual coaching of football aside, I'm so glad we have another character like Leach back on the mic in the SEC. After Spurrier and Miles left, it's been a little stale at press conferences. These other coaches are just boring have no personality for the most part. I can't wait for the epic trash talking that is sure to come out between Leach and Kiffin.

It came off as using our success to troll a rival that you lost to last year.

Apologies if I was off-base, but there is certainly a history of that type of dickriding in the LSU-Alabama feud.

This, as they'll tell you, is an LSU board... but if you mention LSU on it, you're obsessed.

You're kind of right... it's "taking a poop" not a "dump".

quote:

LSU became the first defending title winner to lose its opener since Michigan in 1998. Sure, the Tigers were short handed. Their top defensive player, Derek Stingley, missed the game with a non-COVID related illness he contracted Friday. They were also without starting tackle Glen Logan for off-the-field issues. Over the summer, they had key players (Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Shelvin) opt out, and, yes, they were missing 2019 Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow. In fact, LSU’s lineup featured just three players who started the national championship game against Clemson just nine months ago.

All of that said, all the excuses, all the reasons, the Air Raid did things to the Tigers that few SEC offenses have ever done.

K.J., Kylin and the Pirate took a poop in the gumbo. The Air Raid is back in the SEC, and Leach always did know it would work, even if you didn’t.
