Really sucks for the players.

Play the game. If we lose, so what, it’s a bowl game and any common sense football fan would see we’re at a disadvantage with all the opt outs. It happens to a few of teams every year.

Baw you responded to is a fan. Got no love for the Crimson Tide, but having had our asses whipped one time by them in a national championship game (something no living Aggie fan can understand), I can say with no reservation that their national championships are quite real.

Sometimes there is nobility in taking your lumps rather than fleeing from an unappealing situation.
