I don't think it's that difficult to understand what I'm trying to get across, but let's try this. If I were to rate this accomplishment on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the equivalent of opening a stuck jar lid for your wife and 10 being the equivalent of walking on the moon, this would be a 5...

In a recent practice, coaches drew up a play that involved a quarterback rush and reminded defenders not to touch Bryant. As the play unfolded, Rountree couldn’t help but laugh at how unnecessary the reminder was. It’s not that they shouldn’t touch their quarterback, Rountree explains. “They can’t touch Kelly. We ain’t never seen that before.”"

Doesn’t sound great for your defense

Receivers are still running wide open for both teams from the 2013 LSU-Georgia game. No one could stop anything, but it was great to see LSU hang in a shootout for once

Joker freaking Phillips won a game in Athens. OP has so much fail.

LOL @ self-upvoting a wildly inaccurate comment while trying to point out someone else's fail.

WTF does Saban have to do with Tigers or Athens?

You know, come to think of it...some people talking about what a tough place it is to play, but both times Saban has gone in there during that time span, Alabama has absolutely kicked Georgia's asses. And both times, Bama was the underdog. So there's that.

LSU has played UGA in Athens only twice in that timespan. We are 1-1.

2008 in BR, UGA won
2009 in Athens, LSU won
2011 in SECCG, LSU won
2013 in Athens, UGA won
2018 in BR, LSU won

LSU is 5-4 versus UGA in this century.

1) The '15 win is really nothing to brag about. It's the media's dumbass fault we were favored. That was likely teh worst 10-win team I've seen in my entire life. We won 9-6 over missouri without scoring a TD. We scored 3 points in a loss to UF. We went to OVERTIME WITH GA SOUTHERN. We scored 1 offensive TD against auburn. We scored 1 TD against tech. We were simply a bad, bad football team that year to go along with major dysfunction on the coaching staff. Oh and on the flip side, bama had another elite season and won the natty. I mean bragging about that game is almost like UGA bragging about their win in lexington last year.

2) The 08 game was a great one for bama. I think the beating is overblown considering after prince miller's punt return it was a 14 point game with 14 minutes left to play. But the 1st half obviously doomed us from the get go. Going back to point #1 though, we were simply overrated that season and lost 3 games. We lost to UF 10x worse than we lost to bama, and lost to ga tech for God's sake. And on the other side, same as above, bama was an elite team that started 12-0 and just had the misfortune of facing maybe the best team in UF's history. My point is, in both games bama was simply a much better team wiht a far better coaching staff, so it's not really that surprising that you would win both games.

Ah the good ole days... where we had a fun rotation and actually got to do home/aways with opposite division schools in the same decade.

Every 5 years! The SEC sure had a good thing going before 2012 fricked it up.
