LSU: 2009, 20-13 win

Missouri: 2013, 41-26 win

That’s a tough place to play.

Seems more impressive than it is with the three conditions: Tigers, Athens, Saban Era.

Though, as an Auburn fan, I start drinking early each Saturday we play there...

For those curious, Tiger teams have played in Athens a total of 12 times from '07 to present.

Auburn - 6
Clemson - 1
LSU - 2
Missouri 3

So that's a 10-2 record against Tiger teams during the Saban era...not quite as impressive as the headline makes it out to be.

Nothing to scoff at, but certainly not groundbreaking...

Can't have a Saban era excluding his first natty.

considering AU and LSU have played multiple times in addition to a dabo-led clemson it's not really UNimpressive either.

Did you not read the line directly below your quote?

I did, but you're all over the map. It's at the same time:

-not as impressive as led to believe
-nothing to scoff at
-not groundbreaking

Georgia has a 13 home game win streak dating back to 2016.

Who's going to break the streak?

Then we will call the Saban Era in the SEC as 2000-present. Afterall, that’s 8 SEC titles in 19 seasons (and he wasn’t even in the league for 2005-2006).

"In a recent practice, coaches drew up a play that involved a quarterback rush and reminded defenders not to touch Bryant. As the play unfolded, Rountree couldn’t help but laugh at how unnecessary the reminder was. It’s not that they shouldn’t touch their quarterback, Rountree explains. “They can’t touch Kelly. We ain’t never seen that before.”" Clip from sports illustrated article on Kelly Bryant. Expect this to be another W this year in Athens. Don't Sleep on these Tigers.

Joker Phillips never beat UGA as a head coach. Fail.
