What criteria are you using to qualify WBB as a major sport? Arguably, it's hardly a sport at all.

The wording of the SEC Network’s facebook post actually makes sense
Factually true and impressive. Whoever made the twitter post is the one who claimed the WNBA is a major draft which is just all wrong lol
But regardless, this stat has been true since 2006 when Augustus was drafted so it’s still goofy timing to post this

The WNBA is not a major draft, bro. The SEC not having hockey programs doesn’t mean the WNBA and its draft is more major than the NHL and its draft lol

If the SEC network tweets something out that I know is factually inaccurate, pulling the “they said it ,not me “ card is pretty lame after I made a thread to brag on behalf of the inaccurate tweet

yes I know the WNBA is not a major draft compared to what the NHL is, but its still the top women's league, so it is the major league of their sport thus a major draft...personally I don't give a shite about the WNBA...

It’s still impressive, but this stat has been true for 17 years. Skenes wasn’t LSU’s first #1 taken in the MLB Draft
