I like Neyland and have always had a good trip to Knoxville. But what exactly would you say makes it unique?

Again, I do think it is a good stadium, just don't see it as particularly unique among SEC stadiums. What am I missing?

Unique because it's made entirely of aluminum?

Damn thing looks like a giant, counter sunk, threaded hole in the ground. And Bama is the screw...

What is so unique? The checkered end zones?

Boise State's football stadium and FIU's basketball court are on there too, so the list is definitely legit.

They're ranking playing surfaces for uniqueness -- not the stadiums.

The playing field at Neyland is built over thousands of dead bodies. Ya gotta admit -- that's unique.

You know you have arrived as a program when a Weedeater Snow Bowl victory is revered.

So you are on a list of unique not best, etc... they have the blue Boise Field and the red field from a team I do not remember...

I guess the river is what makes it special.

Eastern Washington. And is it not because of the checkerboard endzones?

Stadium wise it is unique in that it has doubled in seating capacity since being built with no expansion taken place.

Plans for the seat renumbering has to be approaching again.

The fact that it still has pee troughs makes it unique.
