LSU is always in the spotlight. Our current class is #6 in the nation and we’re going to add 1 or 2 more top 25 players to it

I support LSU and any actual school over the NCAA. They’re a corrupt governing organization who picks and chooses who they want to punish, based off what revenue they’re making.

Yes, between seasons being cancelled, no clear timetable for new seasons to start, and college athletes allowed to be paid in at least one state by the start of 2021, the NCAA has nothing else on its plate.

What blows my mind is this part of the transcript:

DAWKINS: Well listen, I mean [expletive], he could be playing for LSU or some [expletive]. He could have fifth-year eligibility and if he doesn't get drafted like Randolph Morris or some [expletive] like that.

WADE: We could compensate him better than the rookie minimum.
DAWKINS (laughing): You probably right about that, too.
WADE: We'd give him more than the the D-League.
The rookie minimum in 2019 was $893,310
Wade was willing to give a D League talent nearly a million dollars to play for LSU
