And sure, some of you knuckle heads will hold A&M responsible.. But let me ask you this.

Would you rather the streak fall at the hands of the SEC itself (A&M beating Bama), or a loss to say a Pac 12 or Big 12 team like Oregon or K-State in the national championship game?

Bama is very beatable this season (see LSU and A&M games). So to say that they would roll in and crush any team in the NCG would not be a given. Don't get me wrong.. I would have been cheering for Bama the whole way had they won tonight. It's just something to think about.

What say you SECr?

Anyone who is trying to complain about you guys beating Bama is just being a total bitch. If Bama was good enough to win a championship this year they should have beaten you, plain and simple.

Oregon, ND, and K State all have hard games left and whoever wins the Georgia Bama game will get a bump from beating a top 5 team at the end of the year.I am still optimistic tht an SEC team can win the NC.

The BCSCG isn't a fricking entitlement. If Bama were better they would have beaten y'all. They weren't. They lost.

I don't give a shite about the streak. I just don't want to see shitty arse ND in the BCSCG. Seriously.

I really think a 1-loss Bama gets into the BCS title game before an undefeated Notre Dame.. at least logically they should but with polls holding so much weight who knows.

It's either K-State vs Oregon for the NCG or the SEC makes it way back in imo.

If you can't run the gauntlet then you don't whine about not winning it all.

Still a lot of football left. Teams lose down the home stretch...Yankees are hoping the SEC gets shutout...but dont count on it. Thank you A&M, you just gave us a few more points in the BCS standings.

With a month to prepare, Alabama would beat Oregon, KSU or ND (the last two easily).

Going from playing LSU's offense one week to Texas A&M's the next was more than probably any team could handle.

I do believe the SEC's chances are significantly reduced now. It's ok though, all good things must come to an end. Congrats aTm on a HUGE win for your program and an impressive win on any scale. I just wish we could have been the team to knock off Bama.

Either UGA or Bama will play in the Nattie. Just look at last year.

Nope. ND is as much a media darling and has as much history as Bama. Plus they've played a legit schedule. If two of the top three stay undefeated that's your game
