Yeah I've seen it. It's not bad for a low budget film...made by group of people that go to a church here.

Ha I didn`t know anyone else knew about this movie. One of my teammates dad is a cameraman. He does the superbowl every year and works (I duno if its still on) on friday night lights. He helped film the thing and tried to get some of us to fly whereever to be in it. His son was the only one who did it and actually got a few lines. I didn`t go with the team to go see it, but apparently he walks into the locker room and throws his helmet down and says something like "I`m sick of this." We gave him shite the rest of the season.

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but I'm not going out to rent it ever again either. And it could be worse: our HC could cover up major NCAA infractions and wear a sweater vest

Yeah I see several of the regulars in the movie around town. It is funny seeing the old guy that was in the wheelchair walking in Wal-Mart or something.

Saban was in Blindside and has his own movie, Gamechanger. Plus, he has two books.

I liked Facing the Giants.

I could see how some people could be way too cool for it, though.

if the movie is shite, it is shite. and the writing was horrid.

i could see how some people would like some sappy, shite story too though.

It's not like it was their day job. They didn't really hire big name actors for this movie...I don't think they did at all. Those kids/adults were every day people.

The movie was filmed around town...and then pretty much put together in the church's studio. Of course the acting wasn't going to be great or the movie was going to be award winning. But it was still decent for what they had to work with.

We had 2 former coaches, and 1 current coach in the Blind side. Beat that.
