Finally after decades of sucking…Ole Miss has a good program and LSU can finally have a traditional rival.

We had the highest recruiting points ever in 2022 and lost at home to App State. No idea how much money went into that but that was a downright embarrassing game and we also paid them to come down and kick our arse.

It hasn’t been much of a rivalry in case you haven’t noticed.
All those years that LSU was playing the Game of the Century or going to Atlanta, Ole Miss was irrelevant
There’s a reason that last Saturday night was the first time in 60 years the two teams had met both ranked in the top 10
And that certainly wasn’t because of LSU
I just wish to God OM fans would hold off on the accolades until you at least win a modern day SEC title.

There are 7 teams who have a more expensive roster than LSU. 2 of whom have already lost, Oregon and Ohio St. LSU spent $45 mil on this roster. Ole Miss spent $40 mil. It's a 12% difference.
The amount of people who let Kiffin's first 3 weeks (dominated Clemson) determine how they think the next 6 to 7 years will go is unwise. And yes, 6 to 7 years is very plausible considering he was at Ole Miss for a little over 6 years.
Kiffin went 5-5 in his first year at Ole Miss. Saban went 6-6 in his first year at Bama. The amount of people that let recency bias guide their entire long term though is not good.
