He’d just brought pressure and forced Milroe into a mistake.
Honestly the mistake was Milroe not running against that 20+ yds of open field on 3rd
I wish his big black lines on the field filter were stronger, but it reeked of a Sept playcall mode for him

Okay you are officially the stupidest mother fricker out of all of these idiots. Mcwhitey was a rb first and foremost who had 7 rushing TDS total and 3 of those came against northwestern. I know he had some ap yards and scored but that doesn't hold a candle to the only sec rb in history with 2k yards.

In fact, rarely does the most deserving win it. It's the "Most Outstanding Player..." in college football. The Heisman voters seem to think it's hard to be outstanding on a 9-3 team, as the focus is usually on the most outstanding player from one of the most outstanding teams with one of the best records. Alabama was undefeated in 2009, Stanford was 8-4 in the regular season. Ingram beat Gearhart by 23 votes.
Last time a Heisman winner had 2 conference losses and didn't play for their conference championship was Manziel in 2012. Of course you could argue he also had a signature win that year in Tuscaloosa over Alabama who was #1 at the time. What's Daniels' signature win this year? Mizzou?
Also - QB who was middling in the PAC-12 goes to LSU and markedly improves while in the SEC = Heisman candidate. QB who was middling/inconsistent in the SEC transfers to the PAC-12 and markedly improves = the PAC-12 is weak. How does that work?

Playing with hurt ribs and leading his team to a comeback victory over a top 15 team?
One dirty play kept him from ATL this year. Save the talk about no comeback.
We saw it all year.

Because as historically bad as LSU’s defense is, they’d be middle of the pac and PAC 12 champs.

Gerhart wasn't really statistically superior to Ingram, he just had a lot more rushing attempts.

Lamar Jackson didn't have 2 conference losses but did have 3 regular season losses and no championship game appearance.
Probably the best comparison for JD5.

Daniels should win it this year

Toby Gerhart - 1871 rushing yards, 28 TDs
Mark Ingram - 1658 rushing yards, 17 TDs
Playing in a championship game right before the vote matters and might hurt Daniels. Watch the 2009 SECCG between Florida and Alabama (1vs 2) and you'll see Ingram sew it up.
