The moment you knew a player was going to be special?

When was a time early in a players career where he made a play and you knew he was going to be real good? Did it pan out? Recently I remember PP7 freshman year making a nice solo tackle on AJ Green and knew from that he was going to be good.

I guess Shaun Alexander vs LSU. Struggling to remember exactly what he did before that game but I think it was just flashes, and he had some games where he didn't get any carries at all.
